Cancellations & No-Shows

We totally understand that life happens—but last-minute cancellations or no-shows impact both our team and clients waiting for appointments.

• Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee.

• No-shows will be charged a percentage (50%) of the booked service and will require a deposit for all future bookings.

• To respect all of our clients’ time, arrivals more than 20 minutes late will need to be rescheduled, and deposits are non-refundable or transferable.

Rescheduling

Need to move your appointment? No problem—just give us at least 48 hours’ notice so we can reallocate your spot. This ensures fairness for all our clients (and helps keep our books running smoothly).

Model Spots & Training Services

Occasionally, we test products and promoted services may be performed by our emerging stylists as part of their training. These model spots are discounted, but please note:

• Results may vary compared to a senior stylist service.

• By booking a model appointment, you acknowledge that ÉTINCELLE is not liable for unexpected outcomes—these appointments are for learning and development purposes.
  (Think of it as a little adventure in hair artistry—you’re helping us shape the next generation of luxury stylists!)

Extension Maintenance & Guarantee Policy

To ensure the longevity and integrity of your hair extensions, all maintenance, colour services, cutting, blow-drys, washing, styling, and extension-related services must be performed exclusively at ÉTINCELLE.

If you choose to visit another salon or individual for any service involving your extensions, including but not limited to colouring, toning, washing, blow-drying, cutting, re-fitting, tightening, removal, or product application, all fix up services & guarantees are immediately void. ÉTINCELLE cannot be held responsible for the condition, performance, or wear of extensions once they have been altered or handled outside our salon.

For your follow up fix up services or guarantee to remain valid, clients must:

• Attend maintenance appointments within the recommended timeframe

• Follow our aftercare instructions and use our approved professional products

• Avoid self-maintenance, including cutting or adjusting extensions at home

• Notify ÉTINCELLE IMMEDIATELY of any concerns to allow assessment and correction

Damage resulting from improper aftercare, heat tools, chemical services, swimming, excessive product use, failure to maintain appointments, or services performed elsewhere is not covered under any guarantee.

ÉTINCELLE reserves the right to decline correction of externally altered extensions and may recommend full replacement at the client’s cost if necessary.

Liability & Hair Disclaimer

We take the utmost care, use only premium materials, and apply all techniques with precision—but hair is a living thing, and every head responds differently. By booking an extension or chemical service with us, you acknowledge that ÉTINCELLE is not liable for breakage, colour fade, reactions, or other results linked to your pre-existing hair condition, lifestyle, or aftercare. We trust you to be honest about your hair history, treatments, and sensitivities before service—because transparency helps us protect your hair and deliver the best result possible.
